A #1 best seller with more than 5 months on a best seller list! The Storms That Fated Us is a new adult romance novel recommended for mature audiences. Contains sexual content.

As Tia Deltoro's twenty-third birthday approaches, she looks forward to meeting up with her old high school friends and hitting the ski slopes. But what was supposed to be a relaxing weekend getaway in a cottage overlooking the mountains turns into a hellish nightmare when Tia unmistakably recognizes the person delivering their firewood. It has been five years since Tia graduated from New Holston High, yet she remains emotionally shackled to her past, or more specifically, to her one and only ex-best friend Carson Rodriguez, the man holding the bundle of firewood. When he accuses Tia of setting up their chance meeting she fires back, running him off.

Unfortunately for these two former friends, Mother Nature decides to show them an intervention they'll never forget! The drastic shift in weather conditions causes Carson to return and wait out the storm with Tia.

As the temperature drops and the strong winds level their only means of shelter one window and roof tile at a time, one question remains... Will Tia and Carson be able to put aside their anger towards each other long enough to survive another storm?

The Storms That Fated Us New Adult Romance edition by JP Summers Literature Fiction eBooks

The Storms that Fated Us was an very good read that kept me up until the early morning hours! JP Summers writes this book from a flashback point of view. So if you don't like this kind of writing style it might not be for you. However, it was one of the things I loved most about this book. It wasn't confusing at all. I think it helped develop the storyline of Tia and Carson- two best friends. Their friendship begins Freshman year highschool. Tia is the new girl whose moved after her mother and father get a terrible divorce. Carson has just ended his relationship with Erin, his first love. They become quick friends with an undeniable attraction. They have a roller coaster of a relationship that ends in high school. Five years later, they are trapped together during a horrific snow storm where they either have to make ammends of their past or die due to horrific conditions they've found themselves in. This was an amazing book. Well written and worth your time reading. I hope you love it as much as I did. Happy Reading!

The Storms That Fated Us New Adult Romance edition by JP Summers Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews

A great book! I'm usually not crazy about going back and forth from present to past-tense, but this one was a winner. I didn't like how long it took Carson to figure things out, and hopefully that's not how it would happen in real life, but I loved the book.
After reading the description it is was not what I expected. This is a great book about lost love and friendship. I like how it played out. The friends actually set them up. But the book had the drama, action and love to keep you reading and wanting more.
This book will grab you at the beginning and keep you in suspense until the end!! It is hard to put down once you start. Great mystery and love story all tied into one. This author has done an amazing job and I can not wait for her next book. I would encourage anyone who is looking for a great easy to read book that will keep your interest until the surprise ending, you will find it in "The Storms That Fated Us" by JP Summers.
Finally a adult romance with class. Excellent written and great story and characters. It was a joy to read. Looking forward to reading more books by JP Summers.
This story held my interest and had me frustrated during some parts. It was sneaky of Tia's friends to play that trick on her and Carson, but it was for their own good. It's sad that Carson couldn't let the past go, even when Tia tried to be civil. The danger that they faced help make them see past their mistakes and move on. They helped each other survive. There were so many parts of this story I did not see coming. It kept the plot interesting. I truly hoped they would make it through all the trouble they faced. I just wish there'd be another story about their lives afterwards.
When young love goes all wrong all because of lies and deception it's easy to understand why Tia and Carson allow their broken hearts to take precedence over the fact they might not survive the disastrous storm threatening to end their lives. I found myself feeling both sympathetic and frustrated with characters which is why I loved this story so much. It truly portrays how easy it is to make all the wrong choices when your mind is clouded by the boy you think you are in love with and the boy you'd rather have, but you're not sure if he'll ever return that love.
The title of this review says it all! I sincerely enjoyed the time I spent reading this break from reality. It really did keep me from cleaning my house, sleeping normal hours and shamefully getting up from the couch all day until I was done! I love the way the author uses flashbacks to tell the story. I can see how it might bother some, but I saw it as refreshing since you don't read that in other books often. I am personally not an emotional reader but I was able to feel the emotions of the two main characters in The Storms That Fated Us. It is a story I'll be able to read over and over and laugh and cry to. You've never wanted to want and hate a best friend this much!
